✅ I am a big fan and supporter of Elon Musk, no doubt! 🚘 Toyota's 1:6:90 rule makes a lot of sense, using the resources needed to make one EV (Tesla), we can make 90 Gas-Electric Hybrid cars or 6 plug-in Hybrid cars. 🔄 In terms of sustainability, I am with Toyota. 🚀 I am sure Elon Musk, will come up with another brilliant idea to make it sustainable. #ev #tesla #toyota #hybrid #electriccars Follow 👉 Praveen Gajjala Push 🔔 for notifications and repost if you find it valuable 🔁

Hybrid beats all electric vehicles on overall greenness. ⛽🔋🚙🏅 "The GreenerCars report analyzes 1,200 cars available in 2024, assessing both the carbon dioxide emissions of the vehicle while it's on the road and the emissions of manufacturing the car and battery. It also assesses the impact of pollutants beyond carbon dioxide, including nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide and particulate matter — all of which can harm human health. The Toyota Prius Prime received a score of 71, followed by several all-electric cars such as the Nissan Leaf and Mini Cooper SE with scores in the high 60s." #electricvehicles #hybridvehicles #greenbusiness https://lnkd.in/e2JsjZ82

"A new report says a plug-in hybrid can beat out the greenest of electric vehicles." "If you try to imagine a “green” car, an electric vehicle is probably the first thing that comes to mind. A silent motor with tons of torque; no fumes, gasoline smells, or air pollution belching from an exhaust pipe. Last year, U.S. consumers had over 50 EV models to choose from, up from about 30 the year before. But a new report from the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy suggests that the “greenest” car in America may not be fully electric. The nonprofit group, which has rated the pollution from vehicles for decades, says the winning car this year is the Toyota Prius Prime SE, a plug-in hybrid that can go 44 miles on electricity before switching to hybrid." #hybridvehicles #autoindustry

🌿🚘 As the automotive industry progresses towards sustainability, i am puzzled that major car companies such as Hyundai Motor Group are still producing hybrid vehicles and plug-in-hybrid vehicles that is really not any kind of solution - but rather very confusing for consumers. Reports from Transport & Environment (T&E) show what we have known for years: the environmental efficacy of hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles is very poor - and perhabs worse than standard ICE based fossil fuels vehicles. The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid is one example out of many from major global players such as: Toyota Motor Corporation, Mercedes-Benz AG, Ford Motor Company, BMW Group, Honda, Nissan Motor Corporation, Kia Worldwide, Renault, AUDI AG T&E’s investigation reveals that plug-in hybrids may not be as clean as advertised, with real-world emissions significantly higher than reported. This suggests a gap between marketing claims and actual environmental performance, potentially undermining global efforts to reduce vehicular pollution. The findings reveals the REAL behavior combined with the REAL laws of physics. Many say that there is a market there and that there is a need for a "transition" vehicle. But forget that those able to pay for that segment car live in areas where the charging og real full electric vehicles is not a problem. If there is a need for a "transition" it seems to be the management and production facilities of the "old" incumbents that needs "transition". If not I am sure that the laws of physics and the rapid development in battery technology will help those who are only doing pure electric vehicles such as Fisker, Tesla, Li Auto, Rivian, VINFAST , NIO and BYD will out compete the old manufacturers. It calls for a pivot in industry strategy, emphasizing the need for transparency and pushing towards fully electric solutions that offer genuine reductions in emissions and which also can compete cost-wise due to the much simpler designs. As consumers and policymakers seek out true green alternatives, the automotive sector must align its production with the goals of the #ParisAgreement and consumer expectations for sustainable transportation. Volvo Group Adjusts Electrification Goals ⚡ Volvo is revising its plan to go fully electric by 2030, now aiming for 90-100% electrified vehicles, including a mix of EVs and PHEVs. Slower charging infrastructure growth, reduced incentives, and tariffs have driven this change. Mild hybrids could fill the gap if needed. CEO Jim Rowan says the shift won’t be linear as markets and customers adopt EVs at different speeds. Despite this, some brands like Rolls-Royce are staying fully committed to all-electric futures. 🔋 Dive into the full story to learn more. #Volvo #EV #ElectricVehicles #Sustainability #Automotive #AutoNews #Electrification #FutureOfMobility
