🚨QSense publication alert! In this collaborative study between Dr. Sanjeeva Murthy's lab at Rutgers University and researchers at Hacettepe University Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine Division, the group investigated the interactions between liposomal drug delivery vehicles and human stratum corneum, the outermost layer of skin. Using QSense Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation monitoring (QCM-D) technology, they were able to measure real-time kinetics as the liposomes adsorbed, deformed, and ruptured upon interacting with their surfaces of interest.
