As I wrap up my time as a Project Engineering Intern at Addcel Engineering Pte Ltd, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and share some reflections on this incredible experience. A huge thank you to Charlie Tan our managing director, for his guidance and support throughout my internship. I would also like to show my appreciation to my fellow colleagues and interns, particularly Ang Yan Lin, who helped me in this journey and made my time here a lot more bearable. Although the role was quite different from what I initially expected, it turned out to be an invaluable learning opportunity. I had the privilege of implementing an organization-wide project of copilot with M365, which taught me several key lessons: 1) Comprehensive Research is Crucial: I learned the importance of putting in the time and effort to conduct thorough research. This foundational step ensures that any project is built on a solid understanding of the relevant factors and potential impacts. 2) Understanding User Needs: It's essential to understand the needs of the users and target the "low-hanging fruit." By addressing the most immediate and impactful issues first, you can gain the buy-in and support of your colleagues, making the overall project more successful. 3) Effective Communication: Clear and consistent communication is key. Keeping all stakeholders informed and involved helps in aligning goals and expectations, ultimately leading to smoother project execution. 4) Adaptability: The ability to adapt and be flexible in your approach can make a significant difference. Every week, there were many new challenges that came my way and I had to quickly pivot my timeline and action plans, to ensure the best outcome.
