I have the world's shortest attention span when it comes to doing things I don't like to do (dusting is at the top of that list, which is why I have my sister do it :P). We all have things that we don't like to do, but somehow they have to get done. Here are some quick tips: 1. If you can, delegate it to someone else (see my dusting example). 2. If not, then block out the time to do it. Set a timer, during which you are unauthorized to get up until the timer goes off. 3. Do it first thing in the morning. 4. Do your best to make it fun-play music, reward yourself for getting it done, high-five yourself. Sometimes the dread we feel with having an undone, unfun thing on our to-do list is actually worse than doing the thing. You'll feel better when you get it off of your list.
