Our Origin One has just completed a tour of visits around educational institutions in Germany! Recently Tess and Joris completed a string of visits to Universities in the innovative Karlsruhe region. 🇩🇪 🦾 From Rurh Universität Bochum to Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and finally Universität Koblenz. It was a succesful roadshow including a guest lecture from our very own Joris on localization problems and solutions, some demos of the Autonomous Origin One and a lot of interesting conversation on the different possibilities of mobile robotics. As universities increasingly realise that reinventing the mobile robotics wheel is taking away precious research time, our mobile robotic platforms are starting to find their way into research labs around Europe. Avular's modular approach aligns perfectly with the experimental needs of the universities, allowing them to quickly test different payloads or algorithms. 💡 Always interesting to see how the Origin One stacks up against other mobile robots of similar size. An area where our Origin continues to stand out is its high-torque motors leading to great mobility. The hill was steep and the grass was slippery, but the Origin made it up (unlike a certain yellow robot dog 😉)! Let us know if you would like to see the Origin rolling into your classroom next! #Education #Innovation #Roadshow #Avular
I would greatly appreciate a visit at RWTH Aachen University!
Seems like a good platform to test in snow😉 🇨🇦❄️

21hThanks for your visit, Tess and Joris! We gathered some new insights about the platform! Btw. you where at the Universität Koblenz not University of Applied Sciences Koblenz ;)
