Indeed is predicting an 8.5% increase in tech jobs in the USA by 2025. While no one has a crystal ball, if this comes to pass, preparation will be key. Many businesses that received early-stage funding in 2024 may have been cautious about scaling. If the market improves, they might start expanding in 2025, alongside other funded businesses also looking to scale. This could result in a much greater battle for top tech talent. Maybe I’m being an optimist, but having the right processes in place to win that battle and secure the best engineering talent is essential.
