Crystal Clear 

Credentials alone will not hold enough weight in a persons success. Character, experience, and ENVIRONMENT have so much to do with clarity while excelling. Poor character will quickly outweigh any skill, as skills can be taught. Lack of experience, relevant to the position, can be detrimental if it does not align with other stakeholders. Most importantly if the environment does not have a need for or does not understand the value in the credentials, it will get you no further ahead. Having the ability to recognize when your credentials are not a best fit or being underutilized in the environment will allow for your own empowerment. Go where you’re celebrated, not where you’re tolerated and be sure you’re also celebrating for others too!

As someone who frequently implements analysis and software methods for scientist colleagues - I also celebrate the value of testers and user/tester-hybrids that push those methods to limits, show us where they fail, and help us make them better, more robust and add as much value as possible! #somanybugs #whatcouldpossiblegowrong #data #testers #software
