Why are my projects called AIM HIGHER? It all began with an #Apollo11 Moon landing memory. And now it inspired 2 girls from a village in Turkey to aim higher for their dreams. I believe we can aim higher for a better future. We don’t have to settle or lose hope. Humans did the impossible - we landed on the Moon 55 years ago and that moment created the game changers of today. It’s time to inspire the game changers of today andtomorrow to aim higher when it comes to how we use space technology to accelerate positive progress for environment and climate issues. When we come together for a common purpose we CAN make a difference. In our own lives and for our Ocean Planet. This is the spirit of the #AimHigher for Sea & Space event in London next week for #WorldSpaceWeek: Mon, Oct 7 at the Science Museum Tues, Oct 8 - Piccadilly Screen takeover Learn more at: https://lnkd.in/d9kCGFpv Partners in Purpose: SPACE for a Better World Space For Art Foundation, Inc. I never thought my first event would teach me the most valuable lesson. Want to know how organizing NASA Space Apps Challenge 2024 led by Kinesis Technical Society at KIET Group of Institutions changed my life? Let me take you behind the scenes of this incredible 24-hour journey As a member of both PR and Outreach teams, I was excited But also terrified Our target? To make this hackathon unforgettable Day 1 started with a bang Students poured in from every corner of the campus The energy was electric The excitement was contagious My role? Making sure everyone felt welcome Answering countless questions Solving problems I didn't even know existed The biggest challenge? Keeping 100+ participants engaged for 24 hours straight Trust me, it's harder than it sounds But you know what? These "problems" became opportunities I learned to: • Think on my feet • Communicate clearly under pressure • Lead when things got tough • Stay calm when others panicked They say experience is the best teacher This event proved it Drop a comment below Let's share experiences and learn together Remember: Your first event might be scary But it's where the magic happens Where real growth begins

SXSW Sydney 2024 - Building with purpose - My take on the last 5 days of inspiring talks, events, and meaningful connections. Having such a great time I also seem to have lost my voice 😂 This year at SXSW Sydney, the focus wasn’t just on reacting to trends but on shaping the future in meaningful ways. We explored key themes around quality over quantity, standing out in a world full of noise, and how optimism and inclusivity can lead us forward. We kicked off with Rohit Bhargava's keynote, highlighting how we're often trapped in a fear cycle—a dystopian future shaped by sci-fi. But, as the week progressed, we heard from inspiring voices like Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Australia’s astronaut, who gave us a refreshing, optimistic outlook on space exploration with the Artemis project and what pushing forward means for humanity. Another key theme: the rise of AI and its impact on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Technologies like deepfakes and voice cloning are reshaping trust and identity, presenting both opportunities and challenges as we move into a new internet era. So, what does this mean for us? Whether you're a creative or a technologist, the takeaway is simple: focus on substance and quality. In a noisy world, simplicity and meaningful storytelling will always win. I'm excited to continue sharing more insights and learnings from this incredible event. Stay tuned for more detailed highlights from SXSW Sydney! 🎥 #SXSW #SXSWSydney #SXSWonLinkedIn #AI #Innovation #DEI #SpaceExploration #Futurism #Creativity #Storytelling
