In the light coming in from the courtyard, I sometimes feel the change of seasons and the scenery of the plantings. The red berries of the nanten trees have begun to ripen, and the plum trees are about to bloom. When I see them in the form of shadows, I feel that the end of the year has come. Photo by Renee Kemps
