Start Taking Control Of Your Crops Full Potential! To elevate your crops to new heights, optimizing your nutrients is crucial! Controlled enviroments maximize your yields, boost your terpene profile, and enhance the aesthetic of your crop by providing your plants with specific and tailored nutrient solutions. Here are the main reasons why it's worth investing in your future: ✔️ Optimal Plant Health: By supplying plants with the right balance of nutrients, you can promote strong root development, robust foliage, and vigorous flowering. This reduces the risk of nutrient deficiencies or imbalances that can stunt growth or lead to poor yields. ✔️ Increased Yield: Nutrient formulations specifically tailored for cannabis cultivation can encourage larger, denser buds with higher cannabinoid and terpene content. This ultimately leads to a more abundant harvest and greater profitability. ✔️ Consistency and Reliability: Consistency minimizes the risk of nutrient-related stress or deficiencies that can compromise yield or quality. With reliable nutrients, you can cultivate with confidence, knowing that your plants are receiving the nutrition they need for optimal health and productivity. Elysium Cannabis consultancy provides tailored solutions to help your business grow and be there to support you every step of the process! Will Monsanto Company CRISPR a 30% THC, 6% Terps, Pest Resistant strain that does 4lb per 600W, 8% to rosin and smells just like blue Sour Patch Kids? Probably. It may take 10-20 years, but I foresee a future where 50% or more of most dispensary shelves are made up of the same 40-50 strains, manufactured by the same 6-7 companies, most with their own distinct marketing / branding / packaging. To me, the Gary Payton strain is to Cookies as Snickers is to Mars… and it’s not the last strain that will become a brand unto itself. While new strains will continue to drop, especially crosses of beloved strains (think Sprite -> Sprite Remix), ‘winner’ varieties will continue to be grown for DECADES. Is this a bleak future? I think most people who consider themselves part of ‘the culture’ would consider it as such. I’m not anti-GMO (I spent a lot of time researching the subject in college becuase I used to feel the opposite quite strongly) but the thought of genetically modified cannabis does make me feel…. Weird. I can’t help but seeing mega grows that produce 80% of their crops to ten strains or less, and manufacture them like traditional CPG products, dominating the retail landscape for flower and prerolls. I don’t think this flower will be ‘mids’ either…. I think in a post-legalization world, we are going to get really good, at growing really good cannabis, at a really large scale, really quickly. But I also think a good portion of the market will likely be irradiated outdoor ‘biomass’ with sprayed terps. I’m not a soothsayer, but I will be keeping this future in mind as I make decisions for our companies. In the end, like all markets, the consumer will decide which products gain traction, and which fail. The companies that succeed will be the ones humble enough to listen to them.

A super interesting paper by Cultivators and Brightlabs BV about #cannabinoid consistency within the plant concludes, in the specific plant tested there was a 4% difference in total cannabinoids within the tested plant samples! My thoughts after a few days of grinding this in my head... There is something more to be deducted from this paper (in my opinion any way😅)... First, It looks like the most important parameters of creating a good end result were present: -Good genetics -Optimized growing environment -Good grower I think what this proves more than anything is that if you have all of the above you can create a consistent "product"! Can the conclusion in this paper be upscaled or duplicated to let's say a thousand plants? What if we take one or two factors out of the equation not to mention three, would the results be the same? 4% difference within the plant? Or bigger? My guess would be the later One thing is for sure, we need more of this! ❤️ Thank you for doing this and sharing the results 🙏🏻
As part of Cultivation for Compounds, Cultivators and Brightlabs BV recently conducted research on cannabinoid distribution in cannabis plants. This small study was carried out to evaluate how the concentration of cannabinoids from different parts of the plants affected our sampling protocol. The experiment, conducted in a high-tech greenhouse in the Netherlands, involved analyzing cannabinoid levels in different plant sections. Results showed consistent THC levels, with an average THC content of 27.2% across all branches. While variation per branch was limited, the highest difference we found was a ≈4% absolute difference in THC content, highlighting the importance of using a mixed sample for analysis instead of a single flower. The study advanced our understanding of cannabinoid distribution in our cultivation system and how it affects our sampling protocol. What are your experiences with potency of flowers derived from different parts of the plant?
