The automotive industry is currently facing unprecedented changes not seen in a century. Auto parts companies should adapt to global political and economic changes, and the demand for technological advancements, by planning for the transformation and upgrading of their enterprises. At the same time, auto parts companies should also implement a series of management changes to support their successful transformation. In recent years, new energy vehicles have seen rapid development globally, with especially swift progress in China. T car factory, representing new forces, advocates for the "3C" approach in automotive development, focusing on low cost and fast response, which has become one of the trends in the auto parts industry. The global auto parts supply system is expected to be reshaped. The demand for automotive intelligence is increasing. Due to the automotive market's requirements for high-tech applications, cars will increasingly lean towards intelligent applications such as car networking, front-end entertainment modules, and intelligent driving. These intelligent features will impose higher technical requirements on parts and components manufacturers. The lightweighting of parts and components is also on the rise. Due to ongoing concerns about environmental issues, the parts industry will focus on reducing car body weight through the modular application of new materials. Lightweight, clean, and environmentally friendly technology will become the future direction of industrial development. The industry chain's direction will diversify. The components industry chain will lengthen, starting from more subdivided first-class components and gradually focusing on body parts, doors, seats, audio systems, and other local areas. A comprehensive supplier resource model must be developed to adapt to future market development trends. #Lightweight #LightweightAsia2024 #automotivemarket To learn more about the market trends, stay tuned to Lightweight Asia 2024 Date: 03-05 July 2024 Venue: Shanghai New International Expo Center Learn more:https://lnkd.in/gid2RGSb

First of all, we want to thank all our visitors at the successful and promising fair Automechanika Frankfurt 2024. This year’s theme focused on remanufacturing and sustainability. With the following, ERA Benelux N.V. demonstrates our commitment to these new developments. This year, 21% of the steering racks we sell are already electric, and for EHPS pumps, that figure rises to an impressive 32%! But the numbers become even more striking when we look at turnover: 38% of our turnover from steering racks comes from electric models, and 52% of our pump sales are driven by EHPS pumps. 👉 That means that a substantial part of our turnover comes from Electric steering and EHPS pumps! What’s even more interesting? Many competitors either don’t offer EHPS pumps or have a limited range of electric steering racks. 🤔 Just think about how much turnover you could be missing out on by not tapping into these growing markets! While competitive pricing on top sellers is crucial, this shows that sometimes the bigger picture tells a whole different story. 😉 If you have any questions or want to learn more, feel free to reach out! #erabenelux #sustainability #remanufacturing #circulareconomy #futureproof #thefutureisnow #automotive #aftermarket #automotiveaftermarket #apraEurope #ManufacturedAgain #Steering

I couldn’t fail to mention that today is National Manufacturing Day 🏭 This industry closely intersects with the automotive sector. I think that it’s even foundational to the automotive domain, crafting the tools and equipment essential for the development of trendy, reliable, eco-friendly, and tech-driven vehicles we all enjoy so much 🚗 The thing that tightly unites the two industries is that they’re not only about hefty equipment and machinery but have software solutions at the heart of their operations. Visiting major exhibitions like Automechanika Frankfurt and IAA TRANSPORTATION were the best conformation of this. I’m eager to see where our industries will be going in 2025!💡🔧 #NationalManufacturingDay #ManufacturingIndustry #ManufacturingInnovation #SmartManufacturing #Industry4_0

The world’s probably 2 largest B2B automotive trade shows (AMF and IAA) are being organised on consecutive weeks. Giving a real headache to some companies as to where to exhibit and for others which one to visit. To be at both is a costly excerise. We’re in a fortunate (geographical) position to be relatively close to both locations and therefore we can drive to both shows easily to wlk them. But it’s not the case for many people across Europe who have to make a choice between the two whilst it’d make business sense for them to be at both. Is this a smart schedule from Hannover and Frankfurt? Is this a sustainable schedule? Could these shows be combined / share the same location? Not sure. The good news is: zsofia pioker will be at IAA for two days. If you’re there too, let’s meet! #automechanika2024 #IAAtransportation

Shanghai Automechanika 2024! After many years visiting @Semashow in USA, this year will be my first time visiting the Chinese worldwide trade show, where almost everyone from this business concentrate their main announcements. The week is being very productive with meetings in the factories that already supply us and inspections are revealing a stronger qualitative position for factories that years ago were not assemblers and now became real industries. Very happy to see this progress! Auto parts are becoming more interactive with automation and AI, requiring better engineering and accurate controls. Our presence here to check and assure the quality of what we buy is very important to keep the safety of our clients and our company’s reputation. It’s very important for buyers to understand and practice the win x win game while doing business. Squeezing suppliers “only” for lower prices can be the dictation of the end for both sides.
