Had an amazing panel discussion with James Bowkett, Grzegorz Sztandera, Max Körbächer, Anton Kazakov, and 📚 Tomasz Manugiewicz about "Intersection of Leadership and Technology: Cultivating High-Performance Software Engineering Teams" at #DevDays Europe 2024. We discussed about the challenges in tech leadership today, how to build highly-effective teams, and how technologies are shaping the way we work today. We also discussed what can elevate a safe environment, open communication, and a better overall culture in tech teams by modeling behavior, investing time in the people, and invest in planning the growth of the teams, as we plan for the softwares we build. Hoping to join such panel discussions in-person in the future. . . . . . #techleadership #leadership #technology #devdayseurope #speaker #panel Google Developer Experts

It's with great pleasure I can finally announce that Leaders Lab is coming back to Manchester to follow up on a topic we covered earlier in the year 'Where do we Draw the Line at Potential', you can read the findings from that session in the article linked in the comments. We've partnered up with Gemma Cameron from T5 Digital again, and this time we're bringing some of Manchesters top thought leaders to run a series of micro-workshops. Our workshop leaders: Parul Singh: Founder at Parallel Minds Alastair McGeoch: Director of Software Engineering at Roku Mark Crossfield: Developer Coach at Auto Trader UK Gemma Cameron: Principal Consultant at T5 Digital Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement on what their workshops will be covering later this week! Date: Thursday 14th November Time: 12 - 4:30pm Location: Manchester Venue: TBC (if you have or know of a space we can use please let me know) This session will see us bring together 30 - 40 people from different stages in their careers in tech, Senior Leaders, Hiring Managers, Tech Leads and Juniors. The idea being we get groups of people together to discuss some super important topics. This should give us a whole bunch of different perspectives, highlighting challenges at all levels, and allowing everyone to come up with solutions and walk away with some fantastic takeaways. We will provide lunch and refreshments on the day, and there will be a chance to carry on the conversation over a drink after the session. We have already got a bunch of people signed up to this. However If you're keen or know someone who would be drop me a DM and we can discuss whether the workshop would be right for you. #behonest #becurious #behuman #beyourself #leaderslab

What a week it has been - filled with incredible energy, meaningful connections, and a deep sense of purpose! 🌟 It all started in London, where I had the pleasure of attending the FintechOS Customer Forum. There’s something special about being in the same room with clients, exchanging ideas, and strengthening relationships. 🤝 The highlight? The release of FintechOS Evolve - a major milestone that shows how far we’ve come and the exciting road ahead. 🚀 Midweek brought me back to Bucharest for a truly memorable moment. I had the honor of moderating the final Leaders in Tech event of the year. Together with an outstanding panel - Andreea Ionita, Cristina Duta, and Tiberiu Anghel - we explored the complexities of leading organizations through transformation. 💡 The discussion reaffirmed that leadership today is as much about people and processes as it is about having a flexible, growth-oriented mindset. 💪 And just when I thought the week couldn’t get any better, I took the stage again - this time at the FintechOS Customer Technical Preview gathering. Sharing insights on Engineering Practices with a room full of engaged partners and clients was both exhilarating and humbling. 🎤 Moments like these remind me why I’m so passionate about what I do. Reflecting on the past few days, I’m filled with gratitude 🙏 for the opportunities to learn, connect, and contribute. These moments drive us forward. Here’s to more meaningful experiences as we wrap up the year! 🎉 #Leadership #Transformation #TechCommunity #FintechOS #LeadersInTech #LiT

🌟 Values in Action at LawVu 🌟 I had the privilege of leading one of the most rewarding sessions at our recent team summit, where the engineering, product, and operations teams came together for a week of collaboration, connection, and growth. Being together in person made all the difference—reconnecting with each other and our shared mission has had an incredible impact, both on us as individuals and as a company. As part of the summit, I ran a workshop called Values in Action. This session wasn’t just about talking through our values; it was about bringing them to life by solving real-life challenges using our core values as the foundation. Some key takeaways included: 😍 Positive Behaviors: Identifying actions that reinforce our values and the culture we want to create. 💡 Accountability Partners: Every team member left the summit paired with an accountability partner to ensure we keep these values alive in our daily work and hold each other to the highest standard and desired behaviours. Our values are everything—they shape how we innovate, support one another, and grow together as a team. By incorporating storytelling, rewarding positive behaviours, and holding ourselves accountable, we ensure our values are always in action. I’m excited to see the lasting impact of this summit and the difference it will make in pushing us forward as a company! How do you bring your company’s values to life? #Leadership #CompanyCulture #ValuesInAction #TeamSummit #Accountability #Innovation

Hello everyone, it's time for a Tech Leads MeetUp! Have you ever worked on a project and felt like maybe you are going in the wrong direction or you were just too heads down to notice that you're building something way too complex? Or wondered how not to pick the first solution that comes to mind but really evaluate all the options in an efficient way? How to detect that you're going in the wrong direction and how to be brave enough to change direction and get stakeholder buy in even late in the game? How do you lead the team through all of this? We'll discuss all of this in focus groups by sharing our experiences and learning from each other. And of course this will be followed by time to hang out in good company. The event will be held at 18:00 on November 13th, in Visionect's office (Trzaska cesta 118). Hope to see you there and sure to sign up on the link below: https://lnkd.in/dUm_B5Tx
