Unlike the 2023 MMFF, the current Festival displays an intense and uncanny media war. Wherein motion picture companies and their allies are allocating all their resources to capture a big chunk of the Middle Class Moviegoers What are the takeaways from this brutal yet exciting competition? 1.Netizen-reviews are the factors that push cinema owners to give other entries more screening time. 2. Affinity remains one of the selling points. Entries with big stars tend to be more attractive compared to entries with lesser known stars. 3. Brand is also prominent. The motion picture company that tends to have a high batting average of making blockbuster Movies tend to be more popular among middle Class moviegoers. 4. Trailers played important roles in convincing middle Class moviegoers. Those trailers aired via free TV took in greater advantage compared to trailers that only played in new media. 5. Media launches that cater to Media hacks are no longer effective. What works right now are Omnibus Media Promos that creatively encourage Netizens to do their own reviews. 6. Showbiz reporters no longer have Command in swaying Middle Class public opinion. On the contrary, such often Push away favorable reviews on the part of the Middle Class moviegoers.
