New Partnership Announcement! Qatar Airways Cargo and Japan Airlines Cargo have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their partnership and enhance product offerings for cargo customers! The agreement was signed by Mr. Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo at Qatar Airways Cargo, and Mr. Yuichiro Kito, Executive Officer, Senior Vice President, Head of Cargo and Mail at Japan Airlines. Qatar Airways’ Group CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, was also present. This MoU aims to deliver enhanced services and achieve operational synergies by merging our networks via hubs in Doha and Tokyo. Customers will benefit from improved connectivity and access to a wider range of destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Levant, and Africa. Ever since I started my journey with Gulf Air, I have always welcomed new challenges & experiences with an open arm and have sought various ways to help me learn, grow, and gain an understanding of the various policies, procedures, and processes that are in place to maximize my productivity and efficiency. Having that in mind and reflecting on 2023, I can undoubtedly say that it was a very eye-opening year as I embarked on a special project with another department to which I am extremely grateful for. This experience has broadened my perspective and comprehension of the aviation sector, and the various regional & international laws and regulations that are in force. Massive thank you to everyone who has helped me embark on this special project as well as those who has supported and guided me along the way. Below are some of my numbers/achievements in 2023:  - Supported the department and management in achieving the desired goals & objectives with a successful closure rate of over 99%. - Played a significant role in boosting the productivity of the department by over 100% by taking various initiatives and applying various soft skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, adaptability, teamwork, and time management. - Contributed a staggering 36% of the overall productivity for the full year among my peers of the same level, which is also the highest among them, upon analyzing and applying the most efficient and effective measures. - Got commended and recognized by the management across different levels and departments for several contributions in different areas. Although it is not a personal achievement and is a collaborative effort of all the individuals at #GulfAir, receiving the APEX five Star Major Airline Award was the highlight of 2023 and is an achievement to be proud of being a member of the National carrier of the Kingdom of #Bahrain. The only way ahead from here is forward, so I'm looking forward to the new challenges, opportunities, and accomplishments that 2024 will bring. Key takeaway: The experience that customers go through can either turn them into one-time or lifelong customers. Hence, it is mandatory to provide a consistent positive #customerexperience which will thereby enhance the likelihood of retaining customers and turning them into lifelong loyal customers. #AClassOfOurOwn
