One of our wells, Well X, consistently experienced excessive sand production, which caused severe erosion of the bean. This resulted in challenges with drawdown control and the drawdown exceeding critical limits for sand production. Recently, we installed tungsten carbide-inserted, non-erosive beans (designed in-house) in the well. After seven days (the typical duration for bean erosion), the bean's integrity was found to be intact. Additionally, the flowing tubing head pressure (FTHP) remained constant, with minimal sand observed at the surface. This indicates improved drawdown control and uniform fluid production rates.
