My health, my right! 💪 According to the World Health Organization, at least 140 countries recognize health as a human right in their constitution. However, countries do not implement practical laws that guarantee their population the access to health services. This underpins the fact that over 50% of the world's population were not fully covered by essential health services in 2021. This year’s World Health Day is held under the theme '𝗠𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁’ to raise awareness of these challenges. 🩺 At Rudolf Riester GmbH, our vision is a future in which high-quality diagnostic healthcare is available to every patient, everywhere. Around the world, the right to health of millions is increasingly coming under threat. To address these types of challenges, the theme for World Health Day 2024 is 'My health, my right’. The purpose of this year's theme is to champion the right of everyone, everywhere to have access to health services.
