To determine the density of solids or liquids using the 5Y balance, all you need is a Density Determination Kit. Ribs in the suction port of a centrifugal pump What are these ribs called? These ribs are found in the suction port of many centrifugal pumps. One, two, or even four ribs can be present. But what is the name of these ribs? In the Europump book: NPSH for Rotodynamic Pumps, they mention that the presence or absence of anti-vortex ribs can play a role in the influence o the flow pattern at the entrance of the impeller. I need help finding additional information about these anti-vortex ribs so that someone can help me out on this subject. My two questions to you are: - Who can help me to gather additional information about anti-vortex ribs; - How is the rib called in the picture? I hope to hear from you. #NPSH #education #expert
