Professional Natural Health Practitioners are those individuals who have diligently studied and trained in the field of traditional and classical natural medicine. These true professionals have gone beyond anecdotal practice and have delved into the scientific study of their field. In today’s fast-paced world, most people carry an incredible amount of stress, anxiety, and worry. Driven to succeed, to complete our goals, and yes, to get our kids to soccer or ballet practice on time, we often neglect our health, settling for convenience and ease over focusing on building strong health foundations. Traditional and Classical Naturopathy encompasses a wide range of studies; from Herbology to Aromatherapy, from Iridology to Traditional Chinese Medicine practice, and beyond. Just as there are many fields of study in allopathic care, there are many fields of study in naturopathic care. Like myself, traditional naturopaths dedicate their lives to the study of natural health modalities and traditional and historical healing methods. These ancient systems of healing have been proven scientifically to bring health and wellness to the body. The goal of professional health coaches, herbalists, iridologists, and other naturopaths is to look at their clients holistically. To look at cause and effect. To determine what systems may be out of balance that need nurture and support. To look at daily habits to see what may be adding to disease and illness. By looking at the whole person, their lifestyle, their emotional health and well-being, and their complaints and symptoms, a trained naturopath can work with the client to rebuild their health foundations so that the body can restore balance and bring healing. If you are looking for someone to work with you to help identify potential health issues and ways to restore and bring balance to your body and your life, be sure to find a trained naturopath. I recommend looking for someone who has completed training in several fields of naturopathy and has achieved board certification. If you desire to become a natural health professional, seek training from instructors and schools who are sanctioned and approved by overseeing boards. At Sweet Herbin’ Livin’, I offer training in Iridology and Herbology; both of which are eligible for certification with professional organizations. You can learn more about the programs and courses I offer at https://lnkd.in/guM32Sta

I love what this herbalist has to say about seasonal herbal medicines and nourishing the nervous system! A word of caution about adaptogens, however: be certain that you take into account your personal constitution and tissue states before starting any adaptogen routine. Not all adaptogens are made for everyone to take, and taking the wrong one for your body can even cause more harm. Make sure that you do your research or seek the advice of a professional herbalist (and check with your doctor if you have any medical conditions or are taking any medications) before beginning any new herbal routine, but especially adaptogens! https://lnkd.in/daWqc9QF
