As of my last update in September 2024, there are approximately 40,000 to 50,000 pickleball courts worldwide. However, the sport is rapidly growing in popularity, and new courts are being built and converted from existing tennis courts every day! To give you an idea of the growth: - In 2020, there were around 20,000 pickleball courts globally. - By 2022, that number had doubled to around 40,000. While we're not yet at 1 lakh (100,000) #pickleball #courts, the sport's popularity and court construction are accelerating. It's possible that we'll reach that milestone in the next few years! Keep in mind that these numbers are estimates and may vary depending on the source. However, one thing is certain - pickleball is on fire, and its global presence is rapidly expanding!
