During #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, take a moment to start the conversation about how your teams can join forces to improve mental health across the board. Our friends at SHRM suggest starting with acknowledging and changing the cultures that create burnout. What have your teams done this year to combat #burnout? With how commercialized the very term “self-care” has become, it’s easy to forget that all the bubble bath in the world won’t change the underlying systemic issues fueling burnout in the first place. That's a problem, especially when a mission-driven role means pressure to do as much as possible and quickly as possible because the issues at stake are so important - including addressing those systemic issues! As May is Mental Health Awareness month, we invite you to take a look at our approach to being "Souler Powered:" https://lnkd.in/e2zdjHkC We'd love to hear your thoughts - does this approach sound helpful to you? What are other ways you care for your mental health while taking on important causes? #PeopleCentered #WellBeing #SelfCare #WorkLifeBalance #ProfessionalDevelopment #MentalHealth #MentalHealthMonth #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #Burnout #WellbeingTips

It’s the end of World Mental Health Day, and if you’re just hearing about it now… well, that’s probably a sign you needed the reminder. Mental health at work isn’t just a one-day topic— ✨it’s an everyday thing.✨ So if today flew by in a blur of meetings, stress, and deadlines, maybe tomorrow we start taking those breaks, checking in with ourselves, and realizing that burnout isn’t a badge of honor. Let’s prioritize mental well-being before it’s too late—starting now. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #StillTakingThatBreak

#WorldMentalHealthDay is a powerful reminder that we all are fighting unseen battles. Whether it’s the quiet struggle of managing our own mental well-being or the immense responsibility of showing up for others, mental health deserves our attention — not just today, but every day. Many a moments, I’ve walked into work feeling overwhelmed, yet put on a smile to support my team. It’s not always easy to lead when you’re facing challenges yourself, but it has taught me the importance of compassion — for myself and for those around me. To everyone who may be silently navigating their own challenges while continuing to uplift their teams, I see you. As leaders, it’s easy to prioritize others, sometimes at the expense of our own mental health. Today, let's acknowledge the patience, empathy, and resilience it takes to lead through those moments. Let’s take a step back to truly ask, “How are you?” — to ourselves and to those we work with. Let’s take a moment to be kind to ourselves, as well as others. It’s okay to not have all the answers, but it’s not okay to ignore the importance of mental health. Let’s celebrate each other’s courage, lean into understanding, and remember that compassion is the foundation of any great team!! #strongertogether #mentalhealthmatters

THE REAL: Find the Courage to Walk a New Path One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned on my mental health journey is this: sometimes, moving forward means letting go of paths that no longer serve us. It can be so tempting to try and recreate the past, clinging to what once felt right, but I’ve found that true growth happens when we trust ourselves enough to step into the unknown. 🌅 Letting go of old paths has been challenging, but it’s allowed me to create space for what truly aligns with who I am now. This lesson has brought me peace and clarity, and it’s something I hope can help others who are struggling with their own journeys. At THE REAL Mental Health Foundation , we believe in supporting each other through these transitions—creating a community where open conversation and shared experiences pave the way to mental wellness. 🧠💙 Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your mental health is to have the courage to walk a new path, even when the way forward isn’t fully clear. Here’s to embracing new beginnings and making space for what lies ahead. ✨ #TheReal #MentalHealthJourney #NewPath #GrowthMindset #LettingGo #TheRealMentalHealthFoundation #TrustTheProcess #WellnessCommunity
