We are pleased to welcome Agathe Ebersolt as an intern at BAM8.3 - Thermographic Methods and Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung. ✨ 📑 Agathe is currently doing a Masters in Materials Engineering at #PolytechLyon (University of Lyon) in France. 🌟 She joined our Additive Manufacturing team a month ago and will stay until the end of January. Thanks to her curiosity and motivation, she has already been a real help! 🎥 During this one semester internship, Agathe will be working alongside our two researchers Philipp Peter B. and Alec Hilberg. She will explore possibilities for absolute temperature determination in metal AM processes: on one hand, via multispectral thermography for Laser Metal Deposition and on the other hand, via hyperspectral approaches for Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB/M). We believe that her stay will broaden her perspective and provide significant support for our research. ⛵🎾 When not immersed in her studies or internship, Agathe leads an active life: sailing has been her passion since childhood, and she's always looking for a place to play volleyball and tennis. 🙌 If you are interested in similar internships or any other kind of collaboration, please get in touch!
