This event creates eyeballs and volume in the right circumstances! The majority of US consumers will make a purchase on Prime Day. And we know that even a higher percentage of US consumers will be doing research making this an event that warrants attention. Getting ready for #amazonprimeday is a good internal test to look at how well you are already managing the end-to-end consumer journey across all channels on-site and off-site. This event creates eyeballs and volume in the right circumstances! The majority of US consumers will make a purchase on Prime Day. And we know that even a higher percentage of US consumers will be doing research making this an event that warrants attention. There are a lot of ways to approach this event. For me, the most impactful shopper journey's to pay attention to is the traffic you can drive from your social media efforts, the pricing visibility you can provide for a seamless research process and the experience you can control on Amazon's site through the digital shelf, share of search and retail media. And I would point my efforts around incrementality with new to brand or new to category conversion to maximize the value beyond the event. #pricespider #connectedcommerce #wheretobuy #shoppable #digitalshelf #pricingintelligence
