BarChip Inc.’s Post

How good are these invert segments from the Oliola Water Tunnel? Finding these photos reminded us of the durability built into every part of this 7,000m tunnel, with #BarChip fibre reinforcing the temporary shotcrete lining, the cast in situ lining and the invert segments. Now there’s a tunnel that’s making sure it’s corrosion free and built to last. This project may have wrapped up years ago, but it’s a great example of how projects can keep concrete corrosion free, no matter the conditions. Pretty good photos too. #tunnelengineering #infrastructure #fibrerenforcedconcrete #tunnelling #precastconcrete #invertsegments #corrosionfree #fibreconcrete
