Professor Kang Nee Ting from UNM’s School of Pharmacy recently participated in Noble Gateway’s “Creating a Joyful Civilisation Ecological Village” event in Hulu Langat. The session highlighted the eco-village concept—an environmentally friendly ecosystem rooted in sustainable greenery and farming practices.   Professor Kang Nee also presented her ongoing research on microplastics and their environmental impact, alongside the SEAFILM project led by Dr Sivathass Bannir Selvam. SEAFILM is an innovative, eco-friendly, reusable filter designed to address plastic particles shed from household washing machines.
