Recruitment... yep that word alone will drop impressions on this post! Sad but reality. There are some seriously great recruiters out there whose moral compasses point nothing but far north and deserve all the recognition they can get. Some recruiters that would literally take their shirt off their backs and go above and beyon for both their candidates and clients: Ben Townshend Marie Higgins Matt Penfold Ricky Pearl Michael Moreno Benjamin Smith Dan Smith Joe Ryan I get it but wish I saw less Job Posts with 'NO Recrutiment Agencies' There is zero harm in having a 5 min chat - what's the harm you land your best hire ever or you have made another connection. Two recruiters above reached out and although we do not use them for recruitment services they now use SuperPath A simple convo could lead to something bigger and not expected! #partnerships

Yeah, on the other side. That is pretty disappointing. Always having that chat with people on the panel. If you've shaved your rates to be on the panel, then you don't get an opportunity to benefit. It's not logical. I think we need to see vendors as partners and respect them in that sense. I like our vendors, who we work with, happy to pick up the phone and chat with new people. I don't get the "No recruitment agency". I'll openly discourage it, to be honest.

hahaha love it Barry Heath, but to be honest, I completely understand the "no recruitment agencies" comment on job posts. If I had decided to hire internally and didn't need support on strategy, process, structure, ramp, training, enablement etc, being inundated from recruiters would be annoying.

Thanks Barry Heath that’s very kind and much appreciated. You can never go wrong with having a conversation, gathering important information and then making an objective and informed decision. Which might be that using a recruiter/agency is not for you. And that’s perfectly OK!
