We have been introduced to society. A few weeks ago we informed you about our incorporation in CEP - Centro Español de Plásticos. Now, they introduce us to the rest of the partners, as well as Nexeo Plastics and Zeper. Get to know the road we have traveled and where we want to go: INERTIM RESEARCH, S.L. was founded five years ago as a company focused on the design and development of #mechatronic systems for the #automotive industry, in which talent, #innovation and passion for a job well done are the differential tools to make a difference. differential tools to drive growth in a to drive growth in a highly competitive highly competitive market, such as the transportation and automotive and automotive market. Its differential values are innovative designs, lighter, made with new materials and own and unique methodologies in the market, at very competitive prices with respect to other mechatronic auto parts manufacturers in the automotive sector. In its first five years, Inertim has produced more than 500,000 electronics and 1 million units of mechanical systems in more than 30 projects with multiple customers, including sunroofs, tailgate structures and electronic locks. Today, 100% of the electronics of the HCMF Group, a Taiwan-based company in the automotive sector with a turnover of more than 1 billion USD/year, are designed in Spain by Inertim. At its R&D Center in the Villalonquejar Industrial Park in Burgos, Inertim has participated in important projects such as important projects such as Rupthermat: Research and Development of Ultralight Structural Thermoplastic Materials for their Application in Semi-Structural Automotive Components, in collaboration with the CIDAUT Foundation. Likewise, within the PERTE VEC-I initiative, it formed part of the SoNNMESyC Consortium, with the R&D project: Innovation in Manufacturing Processes for Low Weight Thermoformed Components. We recently obtained certification in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Environment (ISO 14001: 2015) and will soon be certified in Information Security and Privacy Management Systems (ISO 27001: 2022). All these standards are internationally valued and highly demanded by global automotive and transport manufacturers for which Inertim will be a direct supplier with products that will start to be produced in 2024 at its headquarters in Spain.

CKJ Steel A/S recently acquired the company C.H. Rustfri, what was the reason behind that? “C.H. Rustfri is a specialist in assembly installations of pipes, process equipment, and vessels. They will strengthen our capacity in Denmark, for the important pharma industry and also give us a footprint to the food and beverage industry in Norway and Sweden." Why did you decide to sell the company to Indutrade in 2021? “One reason was that we wanted to keep our name, our structure and our corporate culture. Indutrade were very clear that we would get to do that. Also. we feel that there is clear support for our growth plans and can make use of Indutrade’s skills in other areas, such as sustainability, where we are getting help with reducing our carbon footprint." Tell us about your digitalization plans? “Within some years, we will be fully digital and working with everything from AI to advanced robotics. This will create value for customers. The connected systems we are now developing will enable them to follow our work on developing their processing equipment in real time.”

At The Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart over the past few days, Arkema was able to present all its innovative solutions in the #ElectricVehicle battery sector, which has been at the heart of its development strategy for over 15 years. A world leader with an industrial and application presence in Asia, Europe, and the United States, Arkema leverages its global R&D network to provide safer, more sustainable, and more performant batteries, with the aim of anticipating market demand. All our material solutions are designed to increase energy density (new binders), charging speed (high conductive lithium salt) and safety (ionic liquids), while helping to reduce the cost of batteries to make them accessible to as many people as possible. Our 3 segments (materials, coatings and adhesives) enable us to offer our customers perfect synergy across the entire value chain, with a unique portfolio of specialty materials for cells as well as for their assembly and integration into electric vehicles. Staying one step ahead and accelerating in this fast-growing market means working on new, more sustainable battery manufacturing processes (dry process or water-borne process) and product solutions for new-generation batteries (semi-solid ASSB, high silicon) or batteries offering alternatives to lithium, such as sodium batteries. It also means working closely with major players in the sector through partnerships, shareholdings and acquisitions – as we did recently with PI Advanced Materials, Polytec PT, Prolonic, Tiamat and Verkor. Together, we are ideally positioned and equipped to meet the technological challenges of today's and tomorrow's #GreenMobility. #TheBatteryShow Arkema Batteries
