This past weekend, I attended my first in-person event for Jess, Please Consignment at the West Palm Beach Antique Festival. It was an amazing experience. Here are some of my takeaways: -The right tools make all the difference! This cannot be stressed enough. They will save you so much time and effort. Spend some time thinking about set up, take down, and the specifics of your event and plan for your needs. Prepare for this in advance! -Make time to network with other vendors and build connections. They have insight, ideas, and knowledge that will be useful. Leverage the experience of others and add value in return. -It’s important to notice what potential clients gravitate towards, what they touch, and what they ask about, not only what they buy. -These events are work. You are still working in between potential customers. For me, this meant going live on Poshmark and other social media, listing items on eBay, and managing my inventory. Overall, I had a great experience and can’t wait to do it again!

“You are on a roll with your amazing events lately and it’s wonderful to see!” Said a networking colleague to me yesterday. It’s true Business Success Network and Magazine (and myself) are host to some amazing business events. Events where communities come together, attendees can grow and so do their businesses, speakers and exhibitors get visible, winners get their moment on stage and everyone gets a chance to stand out, meet new connections and do business. Our national conference at Villa Park in November is already bigger than our 2023 conference. More exhibitors, 10 great speakers, showcases, networking and much more.
