Calling All EU Researchers and Professionals in Battery Systems! FreeTwinEV advancing Digital Twinning methods for monitoring and controlling battery systems. Our aim is to enhance the quality of cell state assessment and prediction, paving the way for more efficient and reliable energy storage solutions for automotive. Our four research challenges are: 1️⃣ Increase Model Accuracy: Enhance battery multi-physical and system models suitable for integration into digital twins. 2️⃣ Improve State Estimation: Boost the precision of battery internal state estimation using advanced modeling and digital twinning techniques. 3️⃣ Implement and Scale: Develop and test new estimation methods, ensuring scalability to system-level applications. 4️⃣ Innovate Thermal Management: Evaluate intelligent distributed thermal management systems to equalize or manage battery cell degradation within a system. 🚀 We are seeking collaborators who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of battery technology.
