🌞 Harnessing Indonesia’s Solar Potential: A Bright Future Ahead! Indonesia is blessed with an abundance of solar energy, receiving an impressive 4-6 kWh/m² of solar radiation daily. This makes our nation a prime location for solar energy deployment. ☀️ Recent steps by the government to address regulatory barriers are paving the way for a renewable energy revolution. Policies like renewable energy auctions and feed-in tariffs are set to boost solar energy deployment, making clean energy more accessible than ever before. Off-grid solar solutions are particularly promising, offering a sustainable way to electrify remote and rural areas. Imagine the transformative impact of providing electricity access to up to 80% of our rural population! 🌍 Moreover, Indonesia is on the path to becoming a regional leader in solar panel manufacturing. This not only reduces the cost of solar deployment but also creates local job opportunities and stimulates economic growth. The future is bright for Indonesia’s solar energy industry. Let's embrace this potential and work together towards a greener, more sustainable future. 🌱 #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower #Sustainability #CleanEnergy #Indonesia #GreenFuture

Project to Strengthen Indonesia's Energy Transition Kicks Off! We’re excited to announce the launch of the Energy Transition Business and Change Management Project, led by the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership (Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership ), empowering Indonesia’s State Electricity Company (PLN Indonesia Power) to lead the nation's shift to cleaner energy! The project focuses on building a diverse talent pool equipped with the skills to guide the transformation of Indonesia's electricity sector. Through capacity-building and change management programmes, PLN aims to close skill gaps in the clean energy transition, create new business opportunities, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Supported by a consortium of international and local partners: Aquatera Ltd; Center for Human Resource Development for Electricity, New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (PPSDM KEBTKE); Heriot-Watt University (HWU); and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), this project is a key step in advancing Indonesia’s commitment to climate action. #decarbonisation #energytransition #climateaction
