Audio on because this song “Run” is beautiful by Snow Patrol. Your Pot of Gold: Unleashing Your Inner Innovator This St. Patrick's Day 🇮🇪 While green rivers and shamrock decorations are fun, St. Patrick's Day offers a surprising lesson for professionals: it's a day to celebrate innovation! St. Patrick, the Unexpected Innovator Legend tells the tale of St. Patrick introducing a completely new concept – a complex system of thought – to a land with established traditions. The Innovation Mindset: Here's how St. Patrick's story translates to your professional world: - Challenge the Status Quo: He wasn't afraid to tackle a big idea, even in the face of resistance. Just like in any field, sometimes the best solutions come from disrupting the norm. - Adapt and Be Creative: He found ways to connect with the people, using their familiar symbols (like the shamrock) to explain a new concept. Think outside the box to make complex ideas accessible. - Focus on Impact: His goal wasn't just presenting something new, but creating a lasting and positive influence. Always consider the real-world value of your work. So, how will you find your professional pot of gold? - Embrace innovation! Be bold, creative, and think outside the box. Just like St. Patrick, find ways to make a positive impact in your field. Happy St. Patrick's Day! ☘️ #innovation #professionaldevelopment #StPatricksDay

Amplifying the strengths versus weaknesses In corporate we normally classify a lot of things in colour. For example if an action item is pending it’s likely to be marked in yellow. If it’s over due in red. And if it’s completed it is marked in green. This makes it easier to see where we are doing well and where we need improvement. Some one said in a meeting recently that the greens we don’t need action plans for. I disagree . These are the areas that need to be amplified more than the reds- we need to keep reinforcing what we are doing well. There is enough noise out there - let’s embrace peaceful music. Amplifying where we are doing well goes a long way to creating a more conducive culture.

A lot of us grew up being chastised for the marks we missed instead of being praised for what we got correct. Even if one gets 80%, the focus would be on the missing 20%. This feedback loop replays itself in adulthood where we focus on our weaknesses and downplay our strengths. It takes quite a bit of unlearning to operate to one's strengths. Learn2Lead, this is a great reminder that encourages leaders to seek flow and operate to their natural abilities instead of constantly trying to re-wire their brains. 🙏

IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO CHANGE OUR LIVES “But you know what, it’s never too late to get it back,” according to Lester Burnham in the movie "American Beauty." Lester has given me hope and faith in a new beginning. Although we can’t get our childhood back again, we can definitely get our life back. “Remember those posters that said, ‘Today is the first day of the rest of your life?’ Well, that's true of every day but one – the day you die.” We have a chance to change our lives this very moment, and I refuse to wait for the last day. We need to go from wanting to change our lives to deciding to change our lives. “It’s a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself. Makes you wonder what else you can do that you’ve forgotten about.” If Lester Burnham can change and create a new life, why can’t we? The great jazz musician Miles Davis said, “If anybody wants to keep creating, they have to be about change.” This is a guy who adopted many musical styles to lead the jazz world during a five-decade career. If Lester Burnham and Miles Davis can change their lives, so can you. #NewBeginnings #FreshStart #ChangeIsPossible #SeizeTheMoment #BelieveInYourself #EmbraceChange #NeverTooLate #LifeChangingDecisions #StartToday #CreateYourFuture #InspiredByLesterBurnham #TakeActionNow #PersonalGrowth #DontWaitForTomorrow #TransformYourLife #SurpriseYourself #UnleashYourPotential #BeTheChange #MilesDavisWisdom #KeepCreating #JazzUpYourLife #AmericanBeauty #ChangeYourLife #LifeChange #LesterBurnam #MilesDavis

"Sixty9lives’ willingness to explore #raw #emotions and personal struggles sets them apart as an #artist. Their music feels deeply #authentic, and shows #vulnerability, which in turn creates a sense of #trust and #intimacy with their #audience. https://lnkd.in/gWPzJShM By weaving their own experiences into broader themes of love, unity, and resilience, Sixty9lives creates music that is both deeply #personal and #universally resonant. The #collaboration of #influences (like Guardin’s “Homebound”) and the #experimental nature of their #lyrics and music demonstrate a boundary-pushing approach to artistry. Sixty9lives is not afraid to blend genres, themes, and styles to create something wholly unique. “SOULBOUND” by #Sixty9lives is a powerful exploration of love, #connection, and the #miracles that arise from #unity and #resilience. Through its #poetic lyrics and universal themes, the #song resonates on both a #personal and #collective level, offering #hope, #inspiration, and a reminder of the #transformative #power of #love. [!!!] Sixty9lives’ ability to channel #vulnerability into #art makes them a #significant #voice in #contemporary music, one that #speaks to the #deepest #parts of the #human #experience." #Poetry #Music #Love #Universe #Unity #Leadership
