🚀 Decarbonization in Action: Mapping the Future of Energy 🌍 Through the decarbonisation workshop, we dove deep into designing a pathway for the energy industry’s evolution from 2030 to 2040, focusing on strategies to reduce CO2 emissions across sectors like transportation and manufacturing. Our goal? Achieve net-zero emissions by leveraging cutting-edge technologies. 💡 Some of the innovations we explored: - Steam Methane Reforming & Autothermal Reforming: for cleaner fuel production. - MCH & Ammonia Production: create new energy carriers. - Direct Air Capture & CO2 Capture: from exhaust to remove atmospheric carbon. - Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) combined with Enhanced Oil and Gas Recovery. - Upgrading processes with advanced equipment for greater efficiency. The journey toward decarbonization is complex but achievable. Every step we take—from improving transportation to optimizing energy production—gets us closer to a sustainable, net-zero future. 🌱 #Decarbonization #SustainableFuture #CleanEnergy #ClimateInnovation #NetZero #Chiyoda

There's no need to reduce CO2 emissions. CO2 is plant food. The more there is the faster plants grow because it's a required input for photosynthesis. Photosynthesis converts solar energy to glucose. Because of this energy conversion photosynthesis has a cooling effect. The more CO2, the more photosynthesis, and the more cooling.
