Yesterday, I had the privilege of presenting at Campden Wealth's 26th European Family Office Forum in London, sharing insights from our latest European Family Office Report 2024, in partnership with HSBC Global Private Banking. It was brilliant to reconnect with so many familiar faces and explore the key challenges and opportunities facing family offices today. From talent retention and investment strategies to succession planning and the growing importance of technology, the landscape is evolving rapidly. What stood out most from our research were the candid insights from family office leaders themselves. Their experiences, which I quoted during my presentation, added real colour to the data and highlighted both successes and gaps, especially in areas like next-gen planning and diversification. Looking ahead to 2025, one thing is clear: family offices that embrace innovation, strong governance and forward-thinking strategies will be best positioned to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
