In the past, I have been asked many times about #SAP Build Process Automation and how to use individual functions such as #RPA or the Screen Recorder. I've created a video where I use the Screen Recorder on an S/4HANA system and show it step by step. You can find the video as a link in the comments. Recently co-hosted a panel on Automation with my colleague Hitesh Ramani at our UiPath flagship marketing event in Vegas from last month. The panel brought together leaders from different UiPath divisions who participated in our greenfield SAP implementation project to talk about their perspective on how automation helped running this project within time and budget. Discussions evolved around some key words that were brought into our discussion: · A-RICEFWS, where the typical abbreviation RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancement, Forms, Workflows), used to identify key issues within an SAP project, has been improved to add A from Automation. · Clean Core, where this concept and approach to achieve a modern, flexible, and cloud-compliant SAP S/4HANA is enriched by adding Automations instead of customised scripts to adapt the SAP S/4HANA to specific business requirements. · UiPath Document Understanding, which is an AI Automation product of UiPath that could understand documents to extract, interpret, and process data for you, even from PDFs, images, handwriting, and scans. This is an important product used in our SAP project around different processes in Procure to Pay and Order to Cash. · UiPath Test Suite, which combines AI-powered automation capabilities with best-of-breed testing capabilities to provide a unified testing environment that's efficient, easy to use, and shareable across different groups. We heavily used this functionality to create automated test cases that we can use in future releases and regression testing. AI-Powered Automation Summit by UiPath gathered a lot of AI and Automation enthusiast together. Great venue to introduce SAP-UiPath cooperation to wider audience. Mika Tanner and Eero Koskinen presented why UiPath is important to SAP's strategy and how it complements SAP Enterprise Automation portfolio.
