Struggling to find the perfect Valentine's Day gift? Enter the world of Maxime Frédéric's chocolates. He's not just any Chef Pâtissier; he's the award-winning, chocolate-whispering, pastry maestro of Cheval Blanc Paris. Plus, he's a Normandy native, which means he's basically from the land of buttery dreams. Now, Maxime has a little farm where he grows hazelnuts so flavorful they'd put your regular nuts to shame. These aren't just any hazelnuts; they're like the truffle of hazelnuts, tiny but mighty, infusing his chocolates with a taste that says "I'm fancy" without actually speaking. And the ingredients that don't come from his magical hazelnut wonderland? They're sourced from the Willy Wonkas of cocoa farms around the globe. So, if you're ready to give your partner the Rolls-Royce of chocolates (and are okay with not knowing how many zeros are on the price tag), look no further. Maxime Frédéric's got you covered this Valentine's Day. Just don't ask about the cost unless you've got a chocolate-loving golden goose hidden somewhere. #ValentinesDay #ChocolatesWithAPricelessTaste #MaybeLiterally #MaximeFrédéric #ChefLife #HazelnutHeaven #FunnyMoney https://smpl.is/8mqlb

It's the week of Thanksgiving. Do you have any traditions or have you started new ones with your own family/friends? 🦃 My tradition is to start my holiday baking mid month. I love to gift my neighbors and friends cookie trays. Each year I try to extend my skills with a new recipe. I also have learned to bake and freeze so my husband doesn't eat everything! It's fun finding out everyone's favorite cookie too. What's yours? 🍪 Baking is definitely a science. It takes experience to become good. It takes patience to follow the recipe and not rush through the steps just to get to the end goal. If you set your goal, stay focused and on task the outcome is a delicious cake or perfect cookies. Very Pinterest worthy! If you try to skip steps, take short cuts, and expect to still deliver the same outcome you will fail. Last weekend, when I started my baking it dawned on me that baking truly mirrors a sales role! You need to have discipline and you need to be prepared for things to go south (even if you did everything by the book!). However, you can always start over and try again. Usually, that second chance will land you the outcome you initially were aiming for. #thanksgiving #grateful #traditions #family 👇 Tell me your FAVORITE holiday dessert and/or a tradition that you love and continue to cherish 👇

Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis is effecting 10 times more girls than boys. Politicians need to wake up and start legislating and mandating scoliosis screening of preteens to have timely treatment to prevent spinal surgeries. 32% late diagnosis in Canada is unacceptable! Late diagnosis probably even higher % and it means that teen is diagnosed late when only option is spinal fusion surgery. Screening takes 30 seconds but surgery can take up to 10 hours for these teens, who are not diagnosed early. Please contact me if you can make a difference and bring attention to this issue. Screening scoliosis must be done as often we check eye site and dental health, every 6 months at the age when children and teens are growing. There is a pre-teen in every classroom who doesn’t know she/he has scoliosis silently progressing under her/his clothing. #scoliosis #scoliosisscreening #scoliosisadvocacy #misseddiagnosis #scoliosisawareness #scoliosisbrace #scoliosisspecificexercises #scoliosissurgery

Did you know that the word "dessert" originated from the French word "desservir," which means "to clear the table"?National Dessert Day is a sweet holiday celebrated annually on October 14th. It's a day dedicated to indulging in and appreciating all types of desserts, from cakes and cookies to pies and pastries. Recognizing diverse and fun holidays like National Dessert Day can foster a sense of community and engagement among employees. It provides an opportunity for team members to connect on a personal level, share their favorite treats, and create memorable experiences together. To celebrate National Dessert Day at work, consider the following ideas: Organize a dessert potluck where everyone brings in their favorite sweet treat.
