Life is similar to driving to a destination. Whenever you get free road, make full use of it and accelerate because there will eventually be a traffic jam at some point of time wherein you will be unable to do anything but will have to wait patiently. PS: In all this driving, don't forget to look at the views, stop and have tea somewhere because if you become too engrossed in reaching destination fast, you will miss the memories of the journey. Also, destination is not the end. It's just the stop. The new journey will start as after you reach the destination. #justthinking

🔹 Rolling with Style: Overcoming Mobility Impairments Who says overcoming mobility impairments can't be a wild ride? Buckle up, because this journey is anything but a smooth cruise down a predictable path. - **First gear**: Smash the clichés. People in wheelchairs often have better wheelies than Tony Hawk has tricks. Forget handicapped, think legendary. - **Second gear**: Let skepticism fuel your fire. Ever notice how many accessible places are about as accessible as a mountain peak? Time to challenge and change the landscape. - **Third gear**: Adventures aren't just for the able-bodied. From thrilling journeys to introspective discoveries, there's a whole world waiting at the push of a joystick. - **Pit stop reflection**: Embrace the melancholy, for with the rain comes growth. Mobility challenges reveal strength wrapped in a bittersweet package. At the heart of it, life's journey isn't measured in steps, but moments of courage. 🔹 Ready to shift gears? Joy is hidden in simple pleasures and simple things. 4. Lead a minimalist lifestyle – take only what is necessary. 5. It’s all about how well you BALANCE. 6. Handle risks effectively – no bumpers and definitely no airbags. 7. Go slow and with the flow. 8. The easy road doesn’t make the best riders, twisty ones do. 9. Alone time is great for self-discovery – go, Solo. 10. Stand out, stay unique and take the road less travelled. My life changed after this helicopter ride. I had an unforgettable experience during my visit to the stunning Kauai islands in Hawaii. Before taking the helicopter ride, I took a ferry around the island. It was awesome. I drove around in a convertible Corvette. What a drive! I went on the hiking trails. It was invigorating. I spent time on the pristine beaches. It was deeply satisfying. Each experience was exhilarating, but none compared to the profound view I gained from a helicopter ride. From up above, I could witness everything at once – boats sailing, convertibles on roads, trails winding through nature, and pristine beaches stretching along the coast. And, I witnessed many other activities people were so deeply engaged in. It was a breathtaking revelation of the island's true beauty. When you raise yourself high and see the bigger picture, everything comes together. This is the power of perspective. In life, we often get bogged down daily, making choices based on limited viewpoints. But when we step back and envision the bigger picture, our priorities shift. To truly understand and make the best choices, we need the bigger picture. Such as, envisioning our future self a decade ahead can clarify priorities and guide us to take better decisions today. By doing so, we can focus on what truly makes a difference in our lives. Here is committing to seeing the “helicopter view”, the bigger picture, and not sweating the small stuff! #BiggerPicture #LifeDecisions #PerspectiveMatters #LoveTheBigPicture #LeadWithVision #ProfVed Best, Prof Ved
