Your fee is how much??? Ok, lets break this down. Let's say a business needs a Senior Quantity Surveyor. They are paying the individual £65,000, so our fee for finding them that person would be £13,000. Securing that individual enables the business to; ✅ Invoice their client £175,000 per annum (maybe more). ✅ If on a framework, secure the above fee over their competitors. ✅ Reduce pressure on their existing team. ✅ Reduce pressure on the manager of that team. ✅ Allow that manager to focus on more BD. ❌ Not hiring that person would lead the opposite of all of the above! Now tell me my £13,000 fee isn't worth the investment?

Allot of subcontractors within drylining companies are owner managed and offer a flat management structure. Whilst this has its benefits for the company, it can also hold you back in your career and invites some self reflection on your part. Where can you grow and develop in your role? Why have Senior positions been ringfenced round the owner? Why are you being held back? Who gains and who loses out of this arrangement? Some incredible things have happened since the event a few weeks back 1️⃣ We secured 3x Interviews for a recently immigrated Estimator with no local experience... 2️⃣ Reconnected with old clients that were attending their 4th or 5th event... we call these guys Friends of GEDON™ | Executive Recruitment 3️⃣ Secured some new active estimating and cost assignments 4️⃣ The Bar tab didn't exceed $5,000 But my personal favourite takeaway..
