What will the reservation system of the future look like... if AI doesn't solve all the problems at once? The ISO-Gruppe has now launched the first expansion stage of its future-orientated reservation system "Atlantic" with EuroParcs. ISO's Atlantic is based on 3 pillars: 🏛 -> The system architecture follows the MACH Alliance approach and is therefore designed for maximum connectivity, scalability and modularity. 🏛 -> The mapped workflows are based on offer/order management and thus enable personalised customer service along the customer journey. 🏛 -> It also focuses on dynamic packaging combined with lean in-house inventory for each type of service. EuroParcs is ISO's first customer for Atlantic's V1 ("Breeze") release. In this setup, Atlantic forms a middle layer system that offers EuroParcs particularly efficient access to the German-speaking markets, as the existing infrastructure and established processes can be used 1:1. It's a breeze to technically enter a market in this way. I’ve been so busy this week finalizing details for my clients who are getting ready to go on an exciting trip to Europe. They are going to London, Paris, and Rome. Last night they emailed me with this these questions. How and where do I exchange my money? Should I exchange money before I leave? How much should I tip? Recognizing that many of you might have the same question, here‘s the lowdown: I usually exchange my money when I get to the destination, and I use an ATM machine because you get the best rate. I suggest NOT exchanging your money in the airport because the fees can be higher. In many European countries, tipping is not mandatory but is often appreciated, especially in the service industry where guides, waitstaff, and other service providers rely on gratuities as part of their income. It's a good practice to tip guides for their services, typically around 10% to 15% of the tour cost, although the exact amount can vary depending on the quality of service and local customs.
