Developing the logistics e-commerce industry presents a great opportunity for Uruguay, which has the potential to position itself as a hub of entry to the region for this type of operation. As the only free airport in Latin America, Latin America Cargo City is strategically positioned to tackle the challenges these operations bring. This is why we have been working to enhance our value proposition for the sector by developing solutions that simplify, streamline, and increase the efficiency of the logistics chain. In May, we successfully implemented several pilot programs for e-commerce cargo shipments to Brazil, leveraging the existing agreement between the Uruguayan Post and the Brazilian Post, which offers significant competitive advantages for the sector. LACC played a crucial role in developing an operational and technological solution that provides automation and traceability throughout the entire chain, creating a scalable and robust platform for e-commerce operations. We continue to work on strengthening Uruguay’s value proposition as a potential gateway for e-commerce cargo in the region. #ecommerce #airportfreezone

Logistics space in Asia has been a dynamic and rapidly evolving landscape driven by high internet penetration rates, growth in e-commerce sales and technological advancement.
