When we think about doing something good for our mental health, often the focus falls upon things like exercise, getting outside or maybe mindfulness or breathing exercises. Those practical things we can do which we hope will make us feel better or calmer. Connection with other people can sometimes get overlooked, but it’s a huge part of our overall mental health. When you are looking for things to help you, as well as asking yourself what you can do to help you feel better, ask yourself what you can do to help you feel more connected. #therapy #mentalhealth #parenting If you found this useful, you can get more thoughts on mental health directly to your inbox every Monday by signing up to my newsletter here: https://lnkd.in/eMGuPTwE
