3moInteresting comparison as cars were contested at first (they were - rightly - seen as noisy, dangerous, driven by reckless and bourgeois - male - drivers). Interesting also because the general need for cars was artificially created by the industry, and led to ravaging the environment, expanding cities without limits, criminalizing pedestrians... up to the point that we struggle to even imagine a world without cars. Yep, AI is just like that. And I'm sure we won't make the same mistake twice, right?
