We believe that true craftsmanship lies in the details. Every part we make is a chance to raise the bar, whether we’re refining an existing design or building something completely new. As a Canadian CNC machining shop, we’re driven by a passion for getting it just right. We don’t just make parts—we make parts that make a difference. Here’s to pushing limits, reimagining possibilities, and creating quality that stands the test of time. Because when it comes to precision, close enough isn’t good enough. #BenMachine #PrecisionMachining #CNCMachining #CanadianManufacturing #Craftsmanship #Quote #Inspiration

🤔 Would you choose a ball nose tool for a contouring operation? ⚙️✨ The ball nose end mill, a true workhorse of machining, boasts a simple, versatile design with a rounded tip for seamless contouring and profiling magic on various workpiece surfaces. 🛠️ Widely adopted for its user-friendly nature and knack for maintaining a consistent circular profile, it's been a go-to for many applications. 🔄 But here's the twist! 🌪️ The ball nose end mill's Achilles' heel, cycle time. Achieving that smooth surface demands a small stepover increment, translating to lengthy machining cycles on large surfaces. 🕰️ So, the burning question: Is the ball nose tool the ultimate champ for these operations? 🔍💡 Explore the comparison between ball nose and circle segment tooling by visiting: https://bit.ly/3WeY0Yu #CNCOperator #CNCMachining #CNCLife #CNCWork #CNCMachine #CNCProduction #CNCProgramming #MachineShopLife #MachinistProblems #MachinistLife #PrecisionMachining #ShopFloor #ToolRoom #ManufacturingLife #MachineShop #CuttingTools #Tooling #ToolingSolutions #MetalworkingTools #PrecisionTools #kspt

Case study (Part 1): Redesigning a component The end customer received two parts braised together, resulting in leaks. Lexington Machining LLC was tasked with creating a solution for how to prevent leaks with a new component design. We designed a one-piece aluminum extrusion to replace the original two-piece design. See part two on our page for results on cost savings and additional component details.
