What's something you wish people knew about your job? I'll go first: For Recruiters: We have a huge volume of work and pressure on us all day, every day. Companies can't function well without certain jobs being filled quickly. We often don't have updates on your candidacy because the hiring manager is top busy working to make a decision. We get blamed for ghosting candidates but companies generally don't hire enough of us or prioritize being responsive to candidates. It's our job to fill open roles for a company not help you find a job.
