It's been a pleasure to be part of the Reuters Sustainable Road Transport Europe 2024 Conference 🙌   Yesterday, FincoEnergies CEO Kimon Palinginis joined an insightful panel, together with Zeina Nazer, Patrick Schuster, Ingmar Mester, Margaux Meidinger, on ‘Preparing for the Road Transport of Tomorrow’.   Some key takeaways from the discussion include:   🔸 Road transport must largely shift to electrification, while marine and aviation will continue relying on liquid fuels. 🔸 With a limited carbon budget, immediate action is needed through sustainable biofuels and smart charging solutions. 🔸 Cost-sharing and transparency are crucial in building strong partnerships that would accelerate the transition apart from legislative boundaries.   Participants also emphasised the need to continuously engage and share knowledge with SMEs as part of the transition.   Let’s accelerate the transformation of transport—together, we can turn today’s innovations into a cleaner, sustainable future and create a #BetterWorld for all 🌍 💚   #FincoEnergies #Decarbonisation
