What a beautiful video! Captures the essence of 'Savile Row' tailoring, especially if you're interested in Bespoke Suits and the lives of clothiers! Been researching a whole lot of the Bespoke Clothing industry, for a new client, who's also a Savile Row trained Bespoke Clothier, in the US, crafting custom garments for his discerning clients! I wasn't so much of a formal wear or suiting aficionado, or connoisseur as much, let alone bespoke clothing, but I think I'm turning into one now! :) In fact, every TV show I watch or re-watch now, (Suits, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Ballers) I keep an eye on the clothes, and decipher the types of suits! ;-) #bespokefashion #suits #customtailoring

Last night, while doom-scrolling on YouTube, I stumbled upon this documentary. A German documentary maker is going to the source - not an easy journey- of the rose quartz industry in #Madagascar. In this case, the emphasis is on beauty (and those believing in the healing properties). But do these same stones end up in #jewelry as well? This led me to wonder how traceable gemstones are. The #jewelryindustry is going to great lengths to create awareness among the jewelry companies on sustainability and transparency issues. So much is going well in jewelry thanks to the trade organizations involved in this process. It's high on the agenda, but how about the less precious stones? How traceable are they? #TalentLife — Zimmermann becomes #generic. I attribute linen-ish, floral yet structured fabric and design to Zimmermann. I can recognize it a mile away. Close observation of fabric easily confirms Zimmermann before the tag. Generic forgettable #denim. #pleather? Cheapo fabrics in silhouettes remind me of #socialmedia sensation #HouseofCB (they still do #corsets as a basic style). We can still wear flowers in Winter right? #WinterFlorals Of course, in a different fabric just like the olden days of layering. #fashion
