📚 My Book-Of-The-Month for December is "Daily Practices of Inclusive Leaders: A Guide to Building a Culture of Belonging" by Jonathan Stutz, M.A. and Eddie Pate, Ph.D. (He/Him) / Published Author 📚 I had the privilege of personally working with Jonathan back at Microsoft many many years ago, and I was always impressed with how thoughtful and inclusive he was, and what a comfortable environment and culture he fomented - even at a time where inclusiveness was not a thing we talked about (in fact I wouldn't really call Microsoft-in-the-nineties, or even Ballmer's Microsoft in the 2000s a particularly inclusive place). We crossed paths again at Amazon. I've read the first four chapters over the weekend and I'm finding this to be a great, thought-provoking book that all leaders should read! #bookofthemonth #carlosbookofthemonth

I love the part in the title: a guide to building a culture of belonging. I think that’s the hardest part as we humans integrate into new systems, to feel that we belong there. While leadership is far in the horizon, the topic of inclusion is one I cannot miss
