Today we announced a company milestone - our Series B fundraise! We welcome our new investors Lakestar, Optum Ventures, and Elaia and thank existing investors who participated in the round, General Catalyst, Bertelsmann Investments, and Speedinvest, for their continued support. Oliver Heimes will join the board. None of this is possible without our partners across the European healthcare system and the patients we serve. Doccla was founded to provide hospital-level care and support at home for multiple patient profiles across the acuity spectrum: enabling the early discharge of patients, as well as ensuring that for those with chronic care needs, hospital admission might be avoided in the first place. The funding will be used to further consolidate our market-leading position in the UK and Ireland (where we recently launched with the Health Service Executive), while looking to expand in France and the DACH region, and build upon our Pharma work.
