Proud to see two projects we have been involved in ...At Sloane and Raffles London at The OWO feature in Signature Luxury Travel & Style, in their list of the worlds best luxury design hotels.↴ In the realm of hospitality, our considerations often gravitate towards the visible elements of luxury and comfort. However, the flow of air and the quality of ventilation within these spaces are equally vital components; playing a key role in guests wellbeing and ensuring a comfortable environment. A week ago I posted about my experience of staying at an hotel with no bathroom door and how this seemed to be a trend developing in hotel room design, given it was the third property in as many months that had chosen to have an open plan bathroom. The response to my post (over 9,000 interactions) and survey (637 votes) was a little overwhelming but highlights the importance of understanding the customers views over design ideas. The vote was clear: Hotel bathrooms need doors - 97% Hotel bathrooms okay without doors - 3% Interestingly of the responders that are happy with hotel bathrooms not having doors 73% of them are male, I am not sure if that statistic is of any relevance at all but...! All jokes aside the evolution of hotel products and services is a key subject matter and one we will be tackling at The BTA conference in Gibraltar in a couple of months. #businesstravel #yourbta #corporatetravel #travelmanagement #bathrooms #hotels #design

Every hotel is a unique narrative. From the moment guests step into the lobby, they are greeted not only by décor, grandeur or smiling faces but by the beginning of a story that unfolds throughout their stay. “A good hospitality project should focus on the essence of experiences – I always believe an environment ought to be genuine and specific for its consumer, and not about creating mere visual spectacles. .. a story that evokes a genuine re-telling of a city’s cultural context” - André Fu : One of the world's most sought-after hotel designers. Hotel architecture and design play a significant role as it greatly impacts the overall guest experience. Here are some key importance of hotel architecture: 1. First Impressions: The exterior design of a hotel sets the tone for guests' expectations and can influence their perception of the hotel's quality. 2. Ambience and Atmosphere: The interior design and architecture of a hotel can create a unique ambience and atmosphere, enhancing the guests' stay and making it more memorable. 3. Functionality and Efficiency: A well-designed hotel architecture can optimize space, streamline operations, and improve staff efficiency, leading to cost savings and enhanced guest services. 4. Sustainability and Energy Efficiency: Modern hotel architecture often incorporates eco-friendly and sustainable design elements, reducing the hotel's carbon footprint and environmental impact. ..to be cont. #HotelArchitecture #HospitalityDesign #ArchitectureAndDesign #HotelDesign #LuxuryHotels #HotelDevelopment #SustainableHotels #HospitalityIndustry #TravelAndTourism

At our landscape hotel, our most Instagrammable units produce 3-4x the revenue as our more basic units. Here’s how to maximize the “Instagrammability” of your units 👇🏻 1. Make sure the design blows you away If you aren’t inspired enough to whip out your phone and take a video, your guests definitely won’t be inspired enough to book at premium rates. 2. Make it easy to share Make sure it is easy for guests to share videos of both the interior and exterior of your unit. You want the best angles of your unit to be easy to capture. 3. Optimize for “perfect moments” The modern traveler craves unique amenities and experiences, make sure this shines in your design. - Position your hot tubs with the best view from your unit - Include surprise design elements like our loft hammock inside Monarch … or even “hide” the view from the guest until they open the door and it is the first thing they see (like we do with Spyglass at Onera Wimberley). ~~ Looking for more hospitality insights? - follow me Ben Wolff - consider joining my weekly newsletter: https://lnkd.in/g_34aR9T
