The first few months of coaching in China have been a captivating journey filled with unique challenges. I have been carefully observing my surroundings, exploring the intricacies of the training systems, and understanding the factors that influence coaches' daily decisions. I understand the importance of earning more trust in order to have more responsibility and influence in essential planning aspects. My daily work, dedication, open communication, and actual positive improvements in player performance are my contributions to the athletic development of players and the acquisition of specific skills. It's important to note that planning training based on an analysis of individual players' needs is just the beginning of a journey that is inherently full of surprises and uncertainty, especially in the context of traditional Chinese training, which prioritizes training volume above all else. Balancing on the edge, which risks forcing the body to prioritize survival over growth, is challenging. The coaching team's openness has helped streamline the training load management process by utilizing readiness and fatigue data. This has allowed me to incorporate objective and subjective data into the decision-making process, resulting in the team maintaining a positive development trend over the past four months. We continue our fight.
