Last week, Distill Ventures hosted an insightful webinar with Derek Brown of Positive Damage, Inc. , Brandy Rand of ThirstWell, Erica Duecy of The Business of Drinks, and Victoria W. of Dry Atlas, digging into what’s really driving the growth of non-alcoholic drinks. Here are some highlights: ✅ 1 in 4 Americans are ready to take on Dry January this year, and the momentum is only building. ✅ It’s about mindfulness, not abstinence: 93% of people who buy NA drinks still purchase and consume alcohol. Consumers want options that fit different moments. ✅ What “NA” means is expanding. From traditional NA beers to RTDs that fill the space but don’t try to mimic alcohol, the category is as diverse as ever. Catch the replay to dive into the future of NA drinks and see why this market is here to stay: https://lnkd.in/gDsxiHbz #na #bevalc #nonalc #beverageindustry

Filtering whisky Filtering whisky removes impurities and sediments to ensure a clear final product. Chill filtering involves cooling the whisky to solidify and filter out certain compounds, preventing cloudiness. Non-chill filtering retains more natural oils and flavors, preserving the whisky's original character. #whiskyinvestment #whisky #investmentopportunity #investments #australia #UK #financialmarket #ukbusiness #australianbusiness #investment #alternativeInvestments #rarewhisky #WhiskyInvestment #whiskyinvestments #WhiskyCask #casket #whiskyinvest #whiskyinvesting #autraliainvestment #UKinvestors

Each and every cask starts off at year zero as a fresh fill, It takes three years for this raw spirit to start maturing enough to be classed as Scottish whisky. From this age the value of this single malt cask lifts every year, older it gets the more expensive it gets, without doubt or question, the longer you keep it, the value will increase exponentially until it matures into a luxury product that shares its space with other designer luxury lifestyle brands. #scotchwhisky #singlemalt #alternativeinvestments #alternativeassets
🥃 Did you know that the maturation time of whisky casks directly impacts their value? The longer a whisky ages, its flavour becomes more complex, making older casks incredibly valuable to distilleries and collectors alike. Continual struggles have plagued the bulk wine market, following our previous report on the matter from last year, marked by a rising stockpile of bulk wine for sale in various regions. Notably, Turrentine Brokerage's figures rose from selling 19 million gallons of wine statewide by the end of the second quarter of last year to 24 million gallons by February 2024. The increase in available bulk wine, especially of older vintages, points to the enduring lack of demand in the market.
