The old adage "nobody cares about your logo" is true, until it isn't. Jaguar's bold (too bold for my taste) rebrand strategy is creating a stir. It has come across negatively to most as it seems to have completely turned its back to the brand's legacy and heritage replacing its iconic logo to a more modern typeface. Other changes to Jaguar’s branding include a redesigned pouncing cat logo, called the “Leaper,” and a new monogram that incorporates the “J” and “R” in the brand name Translating it to a sound, I hear "Jag-ROAR!!!" to "Jag-errrrr???" However, a rebrands success is measured by its impact to the numbers. Would be interesting to see in the future how this leap (no pun intended) will affect its sales. Here's what I think of Sterling Brands' recent redesign of the Kit Kat US brand. I loved the previous logo for its nostalgic and iconic design. However, it was missing that bold edgy look that the new logo definitely has! It is a risk when big brands redesign their recognizable brand identity. Let's talk strong branding 😍 What makes us fall for a brand is definitely recognisable and pleasing visuals I spy 2 prominent brands in this photo Adanola & Caffè Nero People (including myself) love Adanola because of the chic vibe they have portrayed which has made it so instagrammable and on trend Caffé Nero has it's detectable black & blue logo and decor, after launching 5 coffee houses in 1997 to over 1000 in 2024. We all know who they are, right? ☕ Creating strong branding means people are able identify your brand and if it appeals to them they are more likely to stick around & see what's in store for them!
